Well, Oskar's jaundice is beginning to fade from his belly. They say it may be a few weeks until it is all clear, but he is moving in the right direction! Plus, he is continuing to gain weight; slowly, but it is weight gain. He seems to be getting more and more eager at feedings and is beginning to get the hang of nursing. We will continue to supplement with a bottle for awhile to ensure that he continues to take in enough calories.
Thanks to all those who are praying for us and Oskar. We're doing very well, and I'm figuring out how to get a bit more rest than initially. As I dozed with Oskar a little while ago, I couldn't imagine what we'd be doing if my mom wasn't here. We are soooo grateful to her. Thanks Grandma Nystrom!

We just found out about the web site and have looked at all the pix. Oskar is beautiful!!! Glad to hear he is nursing better. Just wish we could hold him. We'll follow his progress on this site.
The pictures are great!!!! Give him a big hug and kiss from us. Guess your Grandpa Nystrom is arriving tomorrow. Isn't it wonderful to hold your lst grandchild, Pam. There are no words to describe this experience.
We love you Oskar.
