34 weeks! At our appointment this morning our midwife said that everything is looking "perfect"! I'm still feeling really great as well. I'm not yet tired of being pregnant, but we're very excited to meet our little guy face to face!

It is hard to believe how quickly time is flying. The little one is almost here. Our nursery is coming together and we're just getting more and more excited to meet him everyday. His presence is especially obvious of late as he is kicking more frequently and with greater strength. It is amazing to sit and watch my belly move without any warning. This independent little guy moves as he desires. Apparently he is about 4 pounds and 17 inches long- and he packs a punch! We're still working on a name... but it won't be revealed until he is born anyways.

Well, a few holidays and a wonderful vacation with friends have passed since our last post. Unfortunately we accidentally sent our camera to Portland in my brother's car. Hopefully we'll have the camera back by the time Baby Swanson arrives in late February or early March. We're 32 weeks along and things are looking good.

A PreThanksgiving Update.
My brother Lars and his girlfriend Jenny are trekking up from Portland for Thanksgiving with us. We can't wait! But until then... here are a few shots of what we've been up to.
Mark and Kooper at the top of a 1/2 mile climb up from the Cowiche Canyon Trail. Just behind them is a vineyard and tasting room.
Here I am at the top looking the opposite direction.
Slowly trodding along... It is a lot harder to go up hill carrying the extra baby weight (and or course, being extra careful not to fall)!

Our new place. We are renting this big, wonderful farm house just about 1/2 mile from our new church. We're settling in well, though you'll see from the pictures that there are still a few boxes and piles around. There are 3 bedrooms plus one nursery-to-be so we really do have plenty of room for guests. Come enjoy our mountain views, yummy apples (those are apple trees ALL around the house) and Yakima Valley wines. Bring your suits- we even have a pool!
